 Sabine
Parish offers you a wonderful choice of things to see and do. Fishing, swimming,
and boating are prime activities at Toledo Bend Reservoir. Enjoy our championship
golf courses and maybe some stock car racing, too. Bird watchers will find
many lovely spots to espy the great variety of birds that live in and migrate
through our area.  Hiking
and other opportunities to get closer to nature abound. Three State Commemorative
Areas will interest the history buff and offer a better understanding of
our past through regular programs bringing history to life for the public
(see Calendar of Events for upcoming
programs). World famous Hodges Gardens offers an  adventure
to the eye throughout the year and is home to a number of presentations
such as Shakespearean plays, Easter Sunrise Service, Fourth of July celebration,
and Christmas festivities. Throughout the year, there are interesting places
