
- Executive Commitee: - In addition to its normal duties, the Executive Committees will absorb the duties of the following committees:
Budget and Finance Committee – Oversight of the financial health of the Chamber including preparation and oversight of a budget.
- The Executive Committee is composed of the officers, as follows:

- Membership Retention Committee: Focus on developing programs that will involve more members in Chamber activities and recognize significant achievements of members.

- Forestry & Agriculture Committee – Keep the board abreast of issues concerning the forestry or agriculture industry, and to recommend to the Board any issue on which the Chamber should take an active position of support or opposition.

- Revolving Loan Committee – This committee will oversee the Chamber of Commerce Revolving Loan Fund in accordance with the guidelines set forth. For each $5,000 borrowed – a business must create a new job or retain an existing job that would otherwise be terminated.

- Parish Pride Committee – This committee’s objective is the continuous improvement of the “natural beauty” of the parish by working on litter reduction and removal of abandoned buildings and the cleanup of other visual distractions. Current issues this committee might address include the need for a parish-wide anti-litter campaign, and the search for ways to instill a feeling of responsibility for litter control in all parish citizens.

- Governmental Affairs Committee - This committee will absorb and continue the responsibilities of the following committees:
- Parish Governmental Affairs Committee – Study, evaluate and recommend to the Board issues confronting the parish on which the Chamber should take an active position of support or opposition.
- State Governmental Affairs Committee – Study, evaluate and recommend to the Board issues on a State level on which the Chamber should take an active position of support or opposition.
- School Board Liaison Committee – Serve and liaison with the Sabine Parish School Board and recommend to the Board any issues on which the Chamber should take an active position of support or opposition. This committee will handle all issues involving the Chamber on both parish and state levels, including any issues, which pertain to the public school system.

- Economic Development Committee – This committee will absorb and combine the duties of the following committees:
- Commercial Development Committee: Search for potential new business and provide information and support to promote Sabine Parish business opportunities.
- Industrial Development Committee: Search for potential new industries and provide information and support to promote Sabine Parish business opportunities.
- Transportation Committee: Monitor and study local, state and federal policies or legislation that affects highway, road, airport, bus, rail and truck service in the parish. Work in consonance with the Sabine Parish Industrial District to search for new business and provide information and support to promote Sabine Parish business opportunities.

- Fort Polk Progress Committee - This committee’s objective is to join with Natchitoches, Rapides, Allen, Beauregard, and Vernon Parishes to work for the constant development and growth of Fort Polk for the enhancement of our economy and the improvement of the quality of life for our soldiers, their families, and the communities in which they live.
