Ebarb Indian Pow-Wows

1st Weekend of May -  (NOTE: Pow-wow may start in April if part of 1st weekend of May is in April)

The Choctaw-Apache Tribe of Ebarb holds an annual powwow on the first weekend of May. Activities include intertribal and gourd dancing, arts and crafts, and foods. Also, the Tribe usually has its own crafts booth, featuring artists from the community. Admission to the powwow is $1.00 - bring lawn chairs - no drugs or alcohol allowed. All drums welcome. The 2003 powwow will be May 3-4, 2003 (First Weekend in May).

Location: 7 miles west of Zwolle, LA on Hwy. 482 at the Ebarb High School Ball Park
Admission: $1.00 for non-dancers ages 12-64
All dancers and guest drums are welcome. The general public is invited to attend.
